Got to try the #fluffmatte lippies at the #sunniesface party!💋
Verdict:
Packaging design? Amazing. You can always count on Sunnies to make their products look aesthetically pleasing. Branding is on point! Although it does feel a little light and plastic-y the clean matte finish makes it look expensive. Not a bad thing considering it’s only 345 pesos! Oh yeah, and it does feel a little stiff when you twist to make the lipstick go up but I think that’s because it’s brand new.
The formula is pretty interesting and “fluffmatte” really suits how it feels like. It’s some sort of cream to velvety powder-like consistency. It feels light on the lips — lighter than a matte liquid lipstick. It isn’t moisturizing, it dried my lips a little bit but not as bad as liquid lipsticks. Color selection is superb! You do have to apply about 2-3 layers tho to get the full effect. It isn’t transfer proof so you’ll have to reapply after eating oily food but staying power would be a 7/10.
Over all, I think Sunnies Face was going for a matte lip that you could wear everyday that didn’t beat your lips up the way liquid lipsticks do. Are there other products similar to these out in the market? Yes. But I gotta commend Sunnies Face for making a quality product and making it affordable for Filipinas out there!
This is my honest opinion but I suggest you try it out yourself. They’ll be opening their flagship stores at Glorietta and UPTC today so hopefully you get to grab yourself one before it runs out. The hype is cray!
Congratulations, Sunnies Face! Can’t wait to see what else you’ll have in store for us.
Xoxo #poimua
